This quick 3 minutes speech is SOOO Trueee…about our world right now with the help of many gadgets that makes people less talking face-to-face. People talk more digitally and that will shape our culture of conversation, sometimes it’s true that it is so annoying when we see someone on a face-to-face meeting still trying hard or at least being idle for a moment because of the gadget. Sometimes the digital interaction is important, but mostly are not important. How important is it for us to make our-self super available? The cell-phone and IM technology surely helps us in some certain way, but I think and I hope it doesn’t take our life more than it should be. Live a live, give time for ourselves, talk to other, let’s be more human. Talk naturally, face-to-face, eye-to-eye.

Lately the word Street Fighter pop up a lot on the web because there will be a new movie about Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li.

I remember the time when I was young, me and my friends played a lot of this game. It was Street Fighter II and the game took us where we would forget time and forget that we haven’t eaten. Hahaha…

What I would love to share is about how we play. I mean not just the skill, the strategy, but the culture that this game created on us. So yes, if you have coins and you can play on the machine. A lot of people watching behind the screen. Looking who is the best player on this game. I remember, this machine really become the arena where the ‘fighters’ are voluntarily step up ( I mean sit down on the machine chair) and if you feel you are good enough for your opponent, that dare yourself to put your coins inside, you may have to queue before the other people who put the coins first. In this case, especially when we were a kid, we like to test our limit, test our skill and somehow we might want to show-off.

The humility is when you feel you can beat the guy but eventually you are beaten only in two rounds straight, we no hope.  (This will make you even ‘boiled up’ especially if the guy have been in the chair for so long because he always win). Now, you have lots of coins, so sometimes you can win over your pride. But sometimes this guy just makes you lose your money. There is no satisfaction is us, that’s why you play again on the other machine and upgrade your skill against the computer.  I think this is what makes this new game culture spreading and getting big. It makes you want to be the best, practice more and compete with other…The time for losing the coins/money is very short. Well I think it was a good business for the game central owner.

Oh boy, what a great memory when we were a kid and what we were thinking just school and Play Play Play! =) Now there is this movie…it should be a good movie, especially for old time sake. I believe a lot of people are putting high expectation on the story line. The main character for Chun Li is also my fave. Kristin Kreuk…hmmm…hopefully she does great on this movie. Because as I recall, she has a back problem, but hopefully again…she is getting better. Well…3…2…1…FIGHT!!!

Did you remember the last time you saw David Copperfield’s show on how he fly?
I remember it as the greatest man fly on stage. It was a wonderful show, because of the settings, the song, the way David act and really feeling the air. He makes me stunt and want to learn how to fly like he does.
